Looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer for a dynamic project, which deals with smart video cameras development.
You will be involved in active communication within an international team, using the modern stack and improving your skills and knowledge.

Required skills:

• Engineering experience, at least 3 years
• At least 2 years embedded experience (C and C++)
• Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or Linux
• Hard real time application experience: eg Video, Audio, Signal Processing,  Optimizing embedded software for size and speed
• Debugging and testing embedded systems
• Multitasking/multithreaded programming
• Streaming both Video and Audio in both Linux and RTOS.
• Networking Protocols: TCP/UDP/RTP/RTSP/RTCP/HTTPS, MQTT
• Desirable: UPNP/DLNA/ALLSEEN/ZIGBEE/ZWAVE
• Basic electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzer,
  etc.) 
• Effective communication
• English: Intermediate or better

Beneficial  Skills

• Video and video networking experience a plus
• BS CS/EE/CE or relevant work experience (MS is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Bring up new SoCs, chipsets, sensors, and products
• Write, debug, and integrate new device drivers, protocols, RTOS and other firmware code across  ARLO embedded product line
• Interacting with Hardware, Cloud Operations Team, Mobile Clients Team and various other cross-functional teams throughout ARLO
• Review board schematics and data sheets
• Enable test strategies for new components in upcoming products
• Support product development builds
• Lead assigned feature development
